The newest version of the Effie Awards India 2021 was held nearly on Friday evening by the Advertising Club to recognise promoting companies and purchasers that had been the most profitable in advertising and marketing communication over the year.
McCann Worldgroup India was named the agency of the year for the fourth time in a row and took residence one gold, 9 silvers and 4 bronzes. Other prime companies included Ogilvy, MullenLowe Lintas, DDB Mudra and Leo Burnett.
McCann received gold in the influencer advertising and marketing class for its Dettol marketing campaign ‘Using virality to struggle the virus’.
Prasoon Joshi, CEO & CCO of McCann Worldgroup India, expressed his delight and pleasure at the achievement. “Effectiveness comes from a tradition of perception in strategic excellence & creativity pushed by robust shopper insights, which is McCann India’s hallmark,” he mentioned.
“It’s been a robust year for the complete trade and these awards come as a shot in the arm. I’m optimistic McCann will go from energy to energy,” added Joshi.
