McDonald’s has launched a brand new marketing campaign that taps into the joy of Australian winter and spending time along with family members, with artistic from DDB Sydney and media from OMD.Beginning with a 30” TVC working nationally, the marketing campaign spans TV, cinema, digital, social, OOH, radio, influencer advertising and marketing and AFL and NRL sponsorship, and is built-in in-store with a brand new winter menu for associates and households to take pleasure in collectively.The spot makes an statement of the similarities between penguin colonies and Australians huddling in teams throughout winter, with a Macca’s meal as the centrepiece and as an expertise to be loved collectively.The marketing campaign highlights a communal picture of the season with the tagline, “winter’s higher collectively”.ADVERTISEMENT
