Liza Saunders has been named the brand new director of promoting on the University of North Carolina Wilmington, the college introduced immediately.
Saunders joins UNCW after serving the previous 5 years at George Mason University in Virginia because the social media advertising and communications supervisor for the School of Art. There she developed and applied communications methods, together with social media presence on all main platforms. Additionally, Saunders coordinated advertising campaigns and neighborhood outreach occasions that contributed to fundraising success, and better scholar enrollment and retention, significantly for college kids who’re Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), first technology or low-income. Previously, Saunders served as advertising and outreach coordinator at Virginia International University.
